Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms set the rules for using Feed Mandi: what we do, what sellers and riders must do, how orders, payment and cancellations work, and how to raise a complaint. “We”, “us” and “our” mean DCF Digital Solutions, the company that runs Feed Mandi.
In short
- Feed Mandi is a marketplace. Each order is sold by the shop or Feed Mandi warehouse named on the product page, the order and the invoice, and the sale is between you and that seller.
- Before you order, the app shows the price, the delivery charge and the total. You pay cash on delivery — pay only the amount shown on your order.
- You can cancel an order yourself until the seller confirms it. After that, until it is out for delivery, you can ask to cancel, and the seller decides.
- Sellers, hubs and riders have extra rules: keep listings accurate, never charge more at the door, and use customers’ details only for their orders.
- Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days.

1.About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and DCF Digital Solutions, #2/1112, Sixth Street, Palaiyur Village, Rayakottai Post, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu – 635116, India, which operates Feed Mandi. They apply when you use:
- the customer app Feed Mandi: Buy Cattle Feed (com.dcf.feedmandi on Google Play);
- the seller app Sellers: Feed Mandi (com.dcf.feedmandi.seller), including its rider mode and hub tools; and
- this website, feedmandi.com.
Together, these are “Feed Mandi”. The sections for sellers, hubs and riders also apply when you use the seller app in those roles.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of these terms. By creating an account or using Feed Mandi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Feed Mandi.
2.What Feed Mandi is
Feed Mandi is an online marketplace for cattle feed and related products such as minerals and supplements. On Feed Mandi:
- farmers and other buyers find products from shops and Feed Mandi warehouses that deliver to their location, order them and pay cash on delivery;
- shops list their products and take, pack and deliver orders, with their staff and riders, in the seller app;
- Feed Mandi hubs — shown to customers as “Feed Mandi warehouses” — sell products, run the Village Van and, where enabled, deliver orders for other shops;
- riders deliver orders using the rider mode of the seller app; and
- wholesale buyers and sellers exchange enquiries and quotes in the Wholesale Feed Market.
The apps run on Android 7.0 or later and need an internet connection. Not every feature is offered by every shop or in every area, and some are switched on for a shop only by Feed Mandi. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance.
3.Our role: who sells to you
Each order is sold by the shop or Feed Mandi warehouse named on the product page, the order and the invoice. The sale is between you and that seller.
We run the marketplace: we check sellers before customers can see them, show their listings, work out each order’s total using the seller’s own rules, pass the order to the seller, and provide the apps that sellers and riders use to deliver it and record payment.
Sellers are responsible for their products, for what their listings say — prices, sizes, contents and stock — for the orders they accept, and for the taxes, registrations and licences their business needs. A seller’s name and address are shown on its shop page and on your order; its phone number is shown once you sign in.
How shops and products are shown
The customer app shows only shops that our team has verified and that are active and taking orders. Shops are listed nearest first and can be filtered. Unless you choose a sort, the product list shows products from Feed Mandi warehouses first — nearest warehouse first, in an order Feed Mandi sets — and then products from shops near you, by name; when you sort, for example by price or name, all products are ranked together. You can order a product only if its seller delivers to your location. In some districts the home screen also features products from Feed Mandi warehouses. How sellers are treated differently is explained under Differences between sellers.
4.Who can use Feed Mandi, and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
- You sign in with your own mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself: you are responsible for what is done through your account.
- Give accurate details — your name, your delivery location and, for sellers, your shop’s details — and keep them up to date.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- In the seller app, one mobile number can hold several accounts — for example, owner of one shop and rider for another — and switch between them.
- If a shop or our office team books an order for you, a customer account may be created for your mobile number. You can sign in to it at any time.
5.Placing an order
- Each shop delivers only within its own delivery area, and you can order only products that are delivered to your saved location.
- One order comes from one seller. Products from different sellers need separate orders.
- Before you place an order, the app shows the price of each product, any discount or offer, the delivery charge and the total. Delivery charges, minimum orders and distance discounts are set by each seller under its own rules, based on your distance and the number of bags. If none of the seller’s charge rules applies to your order, the delivery charge is ₹0.
- Prices shown in the app include all taxes.
- The delivery date and time slot you choose are a preference, not a guarantee. Any delivery time the app shows is an estimate.
- Prices, stock and offers can change until you place the order. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the seller accepts it by confirming it.
- A seller may cancel an order it cannot fulfil, and you will be told. A seller may also adjust your order — for example the quantities, prices, a special discount or other charges — and the updated bill is shown on your order screen. You pay only what your order screen shows.
- Once your order is delivered, you can view, download and share its invoice. It is a record of the sale in the seller’s name, not a GST tax invoice.
6.Payment
- Orders placed in the customer app are paid by cash on delivery. Feed Mandi does not take online payments and never asks for card, UPI or bank details in the app.
- Pay only the amount shown on your order in the app. If anyone asks you for more, do not pay the extra, and tell us.
- When your order arrives, the rider may accept UPI (and note its transaction reference) or a cheque instead of cash, and records how much you paid and how. If you pay less than the amount due, the balance stays due on your order.
- Shops may also record payments you make at their counter, by cash, UPI, bank transfer or cheque.
- Feed Mandi does not offer credit or “pay later”.
7.Delivery and tracking
- Each order has one delivery owner — the seller’s own riders, or a Feed Mandi hub if the seller uses hub delivery — fixed when the order is placed.
- Once a rider is carrying your order, you can follow the rider on a map, see an estimated arrival time and call the rider. Live tracking needs the rider’s phone to share its location and have signal; if updates stop, the app tells you when the rider was last seen.
- Make sure someone can receive the order at your delivery location. The rider may take a proof-of-delivery photo and may ask the person receiving the order to sign on the rider’s phone.
- If a delivery cannot be completed, the rider records the reason. Contact the seller or us if you need help.
- Neither we nor the seller is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as bad weather, road closures or network failures.
8.Cancellations, returns and refunds
- Before the seller confirms your order, you can cancel it yourself in the app. If a shop booked the order for you at its counter, or our office booked it and a payment is already recorded on it, your cancellation goes to the seller as a request instead.
- After the seller confirms it, you can tap Request cancellation. The seller decides: if the seller declines, the order goes ahead and the app shows you the decision.
- Once your order is out for delivery, it can no longer be cancelled in the app. Call the seller from your order screen if you need help.
- If a seller cancels an order it cannot fulfil, you are told.
- Returns: the apps have no returns feature. If an order arrives damaged, wrong or short, tell the rider at delivery if you can, and contact the seller or us as soon as possible (see Complaints and Grievance Officer). We will look into it with the seller.
- Refunds are handled case by case. If you think you are owed money — for example for a cancelled order you had already paid for — contact us, and we will arrange it with the seller. Refunds are recorded on your order.
Orders that nobody processes are cancelled automatically, as explained under Automatic rules.
9.Automatic rules
- Orders not processed in 7 days: an order still waiting for the seller to confirm it 7 days after it was placed, or ready for pickup for 7 days without being collected, is cancelled automatically. Stock is returned and the customer is told. A shop’s own counter sales, and office orders that already hold a payment, are not cancelled for waiting to be confirmed.
- Shops that leave orders waiting: a shop with 3 or more orders waiting more than 48 hours for confirmation is paused — hidden from customers and not taking new orders — until the owner deals with the waiting orders and switches “Accepting orders” back on in the seller app.
- Hidden shops: a shop is also hidden from customers while it is not yet verified, is deactivated or paused, has run out of usage credits (where usage fees apply), or when Feed Mandi has switched off both of its ways of selling.
10.Village Van
- The Village Van — by Feed Mandi — is run by Feed Mandi hubs. It visits villages on a published schedule with stock on board.
- Schedules, stops, timings, stock and prices can change, and a trip may be cancelled. The app shows the latest schedule and sends alerts for the village you choose.
- You buy from the van in person at the stop, paying by cash or UPI. You cannot order from the van in the app, and stock is first come, first served.
- Each van sale is made and recorded by the hub that runs the van.
11.Wholesale enquiries
- In the Wholesale Feed Market you can send a bulk enquiry to a distributor, agent, manufacturer or shop. An enquiry is not an order.
- The seller may reply with a quote: price per bag, delivery cost and delivery time. If you accept the quote, you agree to buy at that price, and the seller contacts you to arrange delivery and payment.
- Delivery, payment and any later changes are arranged directly between you and the seller, outside the app. Feed Mandi takes no payment for wholesale deals and is not a party to them.
- Check the seller, the goods and the terms of the deal before you pay.
12.Rewards and promotions
- Promotions: Feed Mandi warehouses may run offers such as discounts, quantity prices, free bags, combo deals and flash sales. Offers apply automatically to eligible orders from that warehouse — there are no coupon codes — and can change or end at any time. Only the offer shown at checkout applies to an order.
- Reward points: some businesses on Feed Mandi run a rewards programme. You earn points on delivered, fully paid orders and can use them at checkout with the same business; points from one business cannot be used with another.
- Each business sets its own rules — such as how many points you can use on one order and when points expire — and the app shows them.
- Points have no cash value: they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold. Points used on an order that is cancelled are returned, and points earned on an order are taken back if it is refunded.
- A business may change or end its programme. If you delete your account, you can no longer use your points.
13.Terms for sellers and hubs
If you sell on Feed Mandi — as a shop owner, as a manager or staff member of a shop, or as part of a Feed Mandi hub — these terms also apply:
- Verification: a new shop is shown to customers, and can add products, only after our team has verified it. We decide whether to verify a shop and may ask for more information.
- Accurate listings: keep your shop details, products, prices, sizes, contents, photos and stock accurate and lawful. Prices must include all taxes, as the app tells customers. Sell only products you are allowed to sell, and make sure they meet the laws that apply to them, including any licence, labelling or quality requirement.
- Orders: confirm and pack orders promptly. If you cannot fulfil an order, cancel it in the app as soon as you can so the customer is told, and answer customers’ cancellation requests.
- No extra charges at the door: customers pay only the amount shown on their order in the app. Never ask for more at delivery.
- Changing an order: change an order’s quantities, prices or charges only with the customer’s agreement, or to correct a genuine mistake.
- Delivery: if you deliver your own orders, you are responsible for your riders and for delivering within your delivery area. If Feed Mandi has switched on hub delivery for your shop, a Feed Mandi hub collects your packed orders, delivers them and pays you the money it collects for them, less any refunds, as shown in the seller app.
- Customers’ information: use customers’ details only to fulfil and support their orders. Do not use them for unrelated marketing, and do not share or sell them. Save someone as an Internal Party, or book an order for them, only with their permission.
- Your staff and riders: you are responsible for the people you add to your shop, for what they do with the access you give them, and for paying your riders as you have agreed.
- Complaints: answer customers’ complaints about your products and orders promptly, including those we pass on to you, so that they can be resolved within the times in Complaints and Grievance Officer.
- Your business: you are responsible for your own taxes, registrations, licences and invoices.
Usage fees
- Feed Mandi decides whether a usage fee applies to your shop and sets its rate. When it applies, the fee is taken from prepaid usage credits (1 credit = ₹1) for each paid unit on an order — customer-app orders, your counter sales and office orders for your shop alike. Your balance and charges are shown in the seller app under More, then Usage Credits.
- Credits are charged when an order is placed, at the rate in force at that moment, and returned if the order is cancelled before delivery. An order is not refused because its charge is more than your balance, so the balance can go below zero.
- When your balance is below 1 credit, your shop is hidden from customers and cannot take new orders until it is topped up. Credits are added by Feed Mandi after you pay us outside the app; there is no recharge inside the app.
- Feed Mandi hubs are not charged usage fees.
Differences between sellers
Feed Mandi hubs pay no usage fee, are the only sellers that can run promotions and the Village Van, and always have the rewards programme and the advanced delivery tools. Their products also come first in the customer app’s product list until a customer chooses a sort, and are featured on the home screen in some districts. For other shops, hub delivery, the rewards programme and the advanced delivery tools are switched on only by Feed Mandi. Feed Mandi can also switch off a shop’s ways of selling, its wholesale listings or its own delivery.
Suspension, and closing your shop
- We may restrict, pause, suspend or remove a shop that breaks these terms or the law or puts customers at risk. Where practical, we will tell you why.
- The owner can ask us to delete the shop in the seller app: More, then Store Settings, then Delete shop. New orders stop at once; open orders must be completed and any usage-credit balance settled before we delete it. A Feed Mandi hub cannot be deleted from the app.
14.Terms for delivery riders
If you deliver orders in the rider mode of the seller app:
- You deliver for the shop that added you or, if Feed Mandi added you, for Feed Mandi hubs. Your pay for each delivery comes from the shop or hub that runs it, under its own pay rules. The app records your pay and the payouts made to you; it does not transfer money.
- Collect only the amount the app shows for the order, and record it truthfully, including how it was paid and any shortfall.
- Hand over the cash and cheques you collect to your shop or hub, and settle any difference honestly.
- Use customers’ details, and take proof photos and signatures, only for the delivery you are making.
- Your location is shared while one of your deliveries or Village Van trips is running, and while you are Online with the rider screen open, as our Privacy Policy explains. Go Offline when you are not taking jobs.
- Obey traffic laws, and do not use the app in a way that takes your attention off the road.
15.Acceptable use
When you use Feed Mandi, you must not post, share or do anything that:
- belongs to someone else when you have no right to it, or infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right;
- is obscene, pornographic or harmful to children, invades someone’s privacy, or insults or harasses anyone because of their gender, religion, caste, race or ethnicity;
- promotes hatred or violence between groups, money laundering or gambling;
- deceives or misleads anyone — including about where a message comes from — or knowingly spreads false information, for example about a product, a price or a seller;
- impersonates another person or business;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries or public order, or encourages any crime;
- contains a virus or other code meant to damage, disrupt or take over a computer, phone or service; or
- breaks any law in force.
You must also not:
- list or sell anything illegal, counterfeit, expired or unsafe;
- place fake orders, or misuse offers, rewards or cancellations;
- copy or collect data from Feed Mandi with automated tools, or reverse engineer the apps;
- try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to use, or interfere with how Feed Mandi works; or
- harass, abuse or threaten customers, sellers, riders or our team.
We may remove content, cancel orders, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
16.Content you add
You keep ownership of what you add to Feed Mandi — shop and product details, photos, enquiries, quotes and messages. You allow us, free of charge, to store, copy, show and process it for as long as we need to in order to run Feed Mandi. For example, a shop’s photos and listings are shown to everyone who visits it, and a proof-of-delivery photo is shown to the customer and the seller.
Add only content you have the right to share and that follows these terms. We may remove content that breaks the law or these terms. To report content, contact our Grievance Officer.
17.Our name, logo and apps
“Feed Mandi”, the Feed Mandi logo and “DCF Digital Solutions” are marks of DCF Digital Solutions. The apps, this website and their design, text and software belong to DCF Digital Solutions or its licensors.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence, which we can withdraw, to install and use the apps and this website for their intended purpose. Do not copy, change, sell or redistribute them, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. Product names and brands listed by sellers belong to their owners.
18.Other services
Feed Mandi works with services run by others: Google Play to install and update the apps, Google Maps for maps and directions, your phone’s dialler for calls, and WhatsApp for messages and shares. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
19.Disclaimers
- Product information — descriptions, contents, nutrient details and feeding guidance — comes from sellers and manufacturers. We do not test products, and we do not guarantee that information or the results of any feed.
- Nothing on Feed Mandi is veterinary, nutrition or medical advice. Ask a qualified veterinarian about feeding and your animals’ health.
- Feed Mandi is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that every seller, rider or listing will meet your expectations.
20.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, DCF Digital Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — such as loss of profit, business or milk yield — arising from your use of Feed Mandi or from a product bought on it. Sellers are responsible for the products they sell and the orders they accept; if something goes wrong, we will help you take it up with the seller.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
21.Indemnity
If you sell or deliver on Feed Mandi, you agree to make good any claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal costs) that DCF Digital Solutions faces because you broke these terms or the law — for example, through an inaccurate listing, an unsafe product or misuse of a customer’s information.
22.Suspension, closing and deleting accounts
- We may suspend, restrict or close an account, remove a listing or cancel an order if it breaks these terms or the law, puts other people at risk, or if the law requires us to. Where practical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- You can stop using Feed Mandi at any time and have your account deleted. Our Delete your account page explains how, and what happens to your data.
- Before an account or a shop is deleted, open orders, deliveries, cash, payments, rider pay and usage credits must be settled. Records the law requires us to keep are kept, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- These terms keep applying to anything that happened before an account was closed.
23.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the next paragraph, the courts at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or your use of Feed Mandi.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away your right to complain to a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or to contact the National Consumer Helpline.
Please contact us first (see Complaints and Grievance Officer) — most problems can be sorted out quickly.
24.Complaints and Grievance Officer
If something goes wrong with an order, a seller, a rider, content on Feed Mandi or your account, contact our Grievance Officer by phone, WhatsApp or email. Please give your registered mobile number and, for an order, its order number.
